Scott Blazey has agreed to accept the position of Interim Chairman of BMW CCA Club Racing. Scott, working with Dean Croucher, CR National Competition Steward, will assume responsibility for CR administrative and general management requirements; Dean will be responsible for race related activities. The division of efforts will allow Scott, Dean and the rest of the CR staff to finish the 2009 program and move forward with the 2010 CR program. Details will be provided shortly.
Scott, in addition to being a BMW CCA Club racer, is returning to the Club Racing Staff – in late 1997 Scott was named the first BMW CCA Club Racing Financial Manager. Subsequent to his Club Racing staff position, Scott served on the BMW CCA National Board of Directors, most recently as the immediate past President. Scott’s strong management and leadership skills will serve BMW CCA Club Racing well.
