If you race a BMW, you’ve heard of us. Our program was founded in 1995 and brings together BMW racers from all over the US and Canada. Our schedule takes us to many of the best tracks in North America and our program has enjoyed great success and growth over the past several years by focusing on the basics – we put on well-run events, rules compliance is a priority and the 100% volunteer staff focus entirely on delivering a great experience for our drivers. We want to support our North Central Region chapters who host races, and we want to support BMW CCA’s Track events program, and the best way we know how to do that is to continue to grow BMW CCA Club Racing.
Here are the details of the offer.
To help us maintain the club’s tax-exempt status, you need to be a BMW CCA member. And because racing is about skills and mindset, you need to be qualified (qualified = a competition license holder in another series we recognize and be willing to provide us references, or you have received our endorsement following attendance at one of our renowned BimmerWorld BMW CCA Club Race Schools). And don’t forget, you need to live in one of the States listed above, and this offer doesn’t apply if you held a Club Racing license that expired in 2023 or 2024.
Details on how to race with us are here, and our complete licensing policy is here.
You also need to race a BMW. An overview of our car classes can be found here, and our full ruleset is here. There are plenty of class choices, with a common element focused on safety requirements (both driver protection and car build).
We run under vintage rules where contact is not just discouraged, it is not accepted. We recognize it does happen, but we work hard to limit the frequency and severity of those occurrences and keep track of drivers and incidents to support our commitment to continuously reduce contact. We’re not perfect, but our commitment to machinery preservation and driver safety is front and center.
If you’re interested in applying for a license under this offer, please e-mail our licensing administrator, Katie Chulkas at kchulkas@bmwcca.org and we’ll assign a licensed driver from our team who, along with Katie will help you through the process.
We look forward to racing with you at a 2025 BMW CCA Club Racing event!
