We’re happy to release our 2020 TireRack BMW CCA Club Racing Schedule. For 2020, we’re offering 18 races, 4 Time Trial events and 6 BimmerWorld BMW Club Racing Schools in the United States and Canada. We’re delighted to have the Heart of Dixie Chapter hosting a race at Barber Motorsports on May 30-31.
The Lone Star Chapter race at COTA is still tentative at this time. We’re looking for several more racers to register by January 7th to lock down that event. Due to a schedule change and conflict, PittRace is off the calendar for 2020. We’re already working to get it back on the schedule for 2021. Keep an eye out, we may be announcing some additional races in 2020!
Of course, this is the 25th Anniversary of BMW CCA Club Racing. We’re planning celebrations at Auto Club Speedway, Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen. Two other interesting developments are also being planned. The first is the Stuttgart to Munich Challenge at NJ Thunderbolt, on June 8-9 sponsored by the NJ Chapter. We’re inviting Porsche drivers to join us for a Bavarian themed racing event. The second development is from our Canadian friends at the Trillium Chapter. They have thrown down the gauntlet and are working up the details for their Can-Am Challenge at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on July 31-August 2, 2020.
We appreciate the local BMW CCA Chapters for their support of BMW CCA Club Racing. You can register via the BMW CCA Club Racing website. As always, we’ll keep you up to date on the Official BMW CCA Club Racing Facebook Group.
Racers, now it’s your turn. Please plan to join us for three, four or more races in 2020. In doing so, you support your local chapters and create a great racing experience for your fellow drivers in the BMW CCA Club Racing community.
We thank our series sponsor TireRack and all of our sponsors for their continued support of BMW CCA Club Racing. We encourage all of our racers and friends of BMW CCA Club Racing to make our sponsors your first choice for parts and services for your street, track or race vehicles.
