The rule change process continues to move forward for the 2009 update. Racers input were accepted from 1 June until 1 July. The rules committee has spent many hours as have the Racers Advisor Committee carefully considering the 50 unique change requests submitted by 61 separate individuals.
The changes submitted ranged from simple enhancements to wording to new classification proposals. While all were considered, not all were recommended for adoption by the RAC or the rules committee.
The proposed 2009 rules are now available for comment until 1 September. The items highlighted in gray are clarifications that have been issued while those in yellow are new.(http://www.bmwccaclubracing.com/Information/ForTheRacer.aspx).
The rules have been reformatted. The reformatting changes have not been annotated lest the entire document be shown as changed.
