SUBJECT: E36 Lower Wishbone
We have found that the lower wishbone (part # 33321092237) in the rear suspension of E36’s is susceptible to damage from the forces of racing as well as minor off track excursions.
Reinforcement of the factory part can be accomplished by ‘boxing’ it via skip welding. This is recommended.
In Prepared and Modified classes this part may be replaced under the provisions of the allowed modifications in Prepared Classes, 2. Suspension, B. Rear camber adjustment is allowed. This part controls the rear camber.
