We have some exciting plans for 2021 regarding the iRacing schedule and hope many of you will join us throughout the year for the exciting virtual Club Racing. There will be three series of eight events each. This first series will move to the brand new M4 GT3 – Prototype released on a week ago. As with the initial series in 2020, we will be running a fixed setup to keep the racing as tight as possible. The format for this first series will be heat races, then consolation and feature races with (based on number of participants each week), this is similar to how we ended 2020. We have again developed a specific BMW CCA Club Racing livery package that will feature our sponsors and each drivers chapter.
Our team has put together a BMW CCA Club Racing Livery Pack that all drivers will be required to run as they do in real Club Racing, beyond this Pack drivers can customize the color and design of their cars to make this series as realistic as any live action race would be.
As this Series is open to all members around North America, we have included a design element on the hood that will include each driver’s Home Chapter LOGO!!! All races will be Broadcast LIVE on YouTube and other Social Media, we hope this will drive recognition of the many diverse chapters that we all belong to.
Club Racing looks forward to this exciting new opportunity to bring our entire membership into the exciting world of iRacing and the Club Racing culture.
Requirements for Registration: current BMW CCA Membership in good standing, Sim Racing gear, iRacing Subscription with necessary car and tracks.
A Club Racing License and Application is NOT required!
Our iRacing Team has created a Rulebook that is meant to keep competition fun and enjoyable, while instilling the traditional Club Racing Spirit into this virtual competition. All entrants are required to review and expected to adhere to these rules.
