Welcome to the 25th Anniversary of BMW CCA Club Racing! In 1995, Scott and Fran Hughes, then members the NJ Chapter, established BMW CCA Club Racing. That year we ran races at Moroso, Thunderhill, Las Vegas, Mid-Ohio, and Road Atlanta. See the Moroso Roundel article below.
We have a few things planned to honor our past and celebrate the future of BMW CCA Club Racing. Starting in February and continuing throughout the year, Fred Landwehr and Brian Morgan will be posting a series of interesting stories and facts about our racing heritage on Facebook. We encourage you to post your own photos and stories of your BMW CCA Club Racing experiences.
We will also be holding trackside 25th Anniversary Celebrations at Road Atlanta, GA on August 29th, Buttonwillow, CA on October 10th and Watkins Glen on October 17th. We’re inviting all current racers, alumni and friends of BMW Club Racing to come out and join us. Besides the food, beer and wine, we’ll be offering some interesting raffle items provided by our national and local sponsors. Special recognition is also planned for those who were instrumental in advancing BMW CCA Club Racing to make it the premier club racing series in North America.
